Motherhood:The House Can Wait🏠

Somewhere along the way,
we started believing everything has to be done.

The house needs to be clean.
The laundry finished.
The kitchen in order.

And we keep going…
one task after another,

telling ourselves we’ll rest later.
We’ll sit with them later.
We’ll play later.

But later doesn’t always come.
Because there’s always something else to do.

And while we are busy finishing everything…

They are growing.

Quietly.
Quickly.

And in trying to keep everything perfect,

we forget to pause.
To sit with them.
To listen.
To just be there.

One day, they won’t remember
if the house was always spotless.

But they will remember
if you were present.

So the question is—

Do you want to be known
as the mother who did everything perfectly,
but was always tired and stressed?

Or the one
who was there…
even if the house was a little messy?

Sometimes,
it’s okay to leave things undone.

Because these moments
they don’t wait.
